CLOSE THE DOORS

This message has three steps:
A My Comment,
B The message,
C Prayer and recommendation

A. COMMENT
Beloved in Christ, the aim of this message is to strengthen you, to give you some back ground in the knowledge of God, to help you to deal with your daily life (spiritual and physical), to enable you to understand your call in the body of Christ, and if you are a servant of God I hope this message will also inspire you in your ministry; in short to fulfill the first letter (D: dynamism in Word of God) of DNA-Networks.
I pray in the name of Lord that you will be free in spirit, be able to understand your life and speak with boldness to others about your faith. A human being is a spirit and what we see outside is the physical cover (flesh) of the spirit.
(The asterisk* indicates a footnote where the full bible text is written out.)

B. THE MESSAGE: CLOSE THE DOORS
Jesus said in the Bible, John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. But Jesus has come that you may have life in abundance”. The abundant life given by Jesus includes God’s blessings, both spiritual and material
God’s Spiritual blessings :( Romans 14:17)*, the peace, the Joy and the justice of God (ie right relationships between people and right relationship with God) in our lives
God’s Material blessings: The life= health, sufficient money, marriage, work, holiday (rest), good quality relationships with people
How does the thief steal, kill and destroy our God’s blessings? By bringing back the old nature in us like Anger (James1: 20)*, hatred, unforgiveness, greedy desire for more, too much talk (Proverbs10:19)*, impatience, gossip, rushing about without thought and Proverbs 6:16-19* (please read this passage in bottom of the message). All these are doors for the thief to steal, to kill and to destroy God’s blessings in our lives. All these things which may look small, lead someone to sin. The Bible gives lists of sins that snatch us from God’s blessings like in (Galatians 5: 19-21)*, (Mark 7:21-22)*

How to overcome/to resist / to endure- scriptures to obey
1. “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil (thief) and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
2. “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil (thief/Satan) walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
3. “Nor give place to devil” (Ephesians 4:27)

In practice- some directions:
a) To read the Bible regularly and to respect and obey what is written in God’s Word (Joshua 1:8)*. As a child of God you will be blessed when you study God’s Word.
b) Pray without ceasing: 1 Thessalonians 5:17, because you have God’s Spirit in you, prayer will come naturally and no one has to force you to pray!
c) Sharing the Word of God with others: (Psalms 133:1-3)*, (Hebrews 10:25)*, because you have Jesus in your life, you will be part of a group of believers.

C. PRAYER AND RECOMMENDATION
My prayer for all readers: Father Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for a special blessing for your people who took their time reading this message. May they find more of your glory and for your Holy Spirit to speak and give them right understanding in their walk in your kingdom. I pray further more for your children to get more of God’s blessings and to close the doors for the thief to not have access again, In Jesus Name, Amen

If you are blessed by the message, by the love of God; print or e-mail to someone else

Pray for God’s blessings upon the writer.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions!

Romans 14: 17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness (justice of
God) and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

James1:20 for the anger of man does not produce the justice of God

Proverbs 10:19 In the multitude of words sin is not lacking

Proverbs6: 16-19 These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to him: A proud look, lying tongue, hand that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions,
jealousies, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries

Mark7: 21-23 for from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.

Joshua1:8 This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psams133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing, life forevermore.

Hewbrews10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.
